Man, do I love my parents! As you know, my parents are Candace Topham and Aldin (Dino) Konjic. They checked into the hospital at 11:30am. A room was not available for several hours. Once they were placed in a room, the visitors began to show up. It didn't take long before it was time for my coming. Mommy and Daddy were pretty impatient awaiting my arrival. Everything went smoothly and I was the most beautiful baby delivered. Well, I think so anyway. I was born Sunday at 6:16pm.

Both Mommy and Daddy were twenty-one years old at the time of my birth. They learned they were pregnant in the early part of May. This news was very shocking for the both of them. Many things were running through their heads trying to decide the necessary steps to be taken. The main discussion was about when and how my grandparents should find out the BIG news. Two days later, the news was out. My parents couldn't hold it in anymore. It was a surprise to everyone. It didn't take very long before the whole family heard about me. The word traveled pretty quickly.

During the summer Mommy worked at Chili's and Daddy worked with his and his brother's company (AKBrothers, LLC.) in order to save up some extra greens. We babies are pretty expensive. Mom moved in with Dad's family in August in order to get settled in before school started back up. Dad worked really hard trying to get a good boost in his company. Mom prayed that she could squeeze in one more semester of college before I decided to show up. She finished school in good timing and was able to have 1 1/2 weeks break before she went into labor.
