Saying it All my Second Year
To begin my second year, I had to celebrations. First, my dad's side of the family came over tuesday, December 19th (my birthday). I got to open a few presents and blow out candle on the cake three times. Then December 23, we had a really big party. I had a lot of family and friends come over. Everyone wanted to see our new house and me of course.
I have grown so much in my first few months of being two. I have learned so many things and can talk, talk, talk. I love to color and know pink, white, black, blue and brown. Numbers are no problem for me. I count "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8." Yeah, I forget the number 6. I learned to count to 5 by playing hide n' seek closing my eyes and telling everyone "go hide". When Mom draws, I can tell the difference between a star, circle (which I draw very well), triangle and square. I know all the words to the song "the wheels on the bus go round and round" and I say "Old MacDonald...sheep. baaah."
When music is on, I dance like crazy. I like to head bang when I'm lying on the floor watching a movie; it makes a me a little dizzy though. My favorite animal right now is an owl. I hear them a lot while I play in my huge backyard. The weather this winter has not been too cold, so I am outside all the time. My favorite game to play outside is taking all my toys and throwing them at the tree by putting them on the end of my stick. I love digging in the dirt still. I'm waiting for the day someone buys me a sandbox (pawpaw).
I have learned to love my big boy bed. It took me a long time to learn to stay in it all night long. I love the fact that when I wake up in the morning I get to freely go climb in bed with my dad and mom until they decide to get up. Adults are just so lazy.
In February I went to my first circus with Dad, Mom, Paw paw and Sam. It was soooo much fun. They had elephants, horses, white tigers, dogs, cats, doves and I think that's it. My favorite animals were the horses. Every time they came out I got so excited. In the end there were 7 motorcycles that all got inside of a giant ball and drove around. They were crazy to do that. I was so nervous for them. Also, this month I went to my first bike show. Well, actually I went once before, but I didn't get to see anything because I was still in Mom's belly. But I loved all of the bikes this time. I took some pictures by them. I was able to see some small bikes do tricks on ramps. It was great. To get there I rode on a train that went really fast. I was not too sure about it at first, but then I enjoyed looking outside at how fast things were passing by us.
